Will you welcome campers onto the island for sat 22nd June and or 06th July?
People will be able to book directly from our website at present we have availability for bell tents, tree tents and pitches but obviously it can change as it is open to the public too.
How would you manage campers who book for the main date, 23rd June, if it gets cancelled?
In the case of the swim to be cancelled for other reasons other than the island being shut, there will be no refund.
If the cancelation is due to extreme weather where the NT closes the island then the booking can be transferred to different dates.
If they are available for the fall-back date will you automatically transfer to the fallback weekend?
As long as there is availability we can, but we cannot reserve the spaces in advance, unless they can book and pay for the two dates.
Assuming you will transfer to the fall back weekend then all is fine, if the fall back weekend goes ahead
The transfer will be only be possible if the have availability as we cannot reserve the dates in advance.
What if the swimmer cannot make the fall-back date, would they get refunded?
If the NT closes the island for safety reasons and the swim is cancelled and swimmers can’t make it the fall back date, then we will refund the booking.
If the fallback weekend is also cancelled, would you then refund all campers?
Once again if the NT closes the island due to extreme weather we will refund the booking.
How would you manage refunds?
Please see below our cancelation policy.
